Key Features
Easy Pole Saw to Chainsaw Conversion
The Remington RM1035P simply converts from pole saw to chainsaw by doing the following:
- Set the pole saw down on a flat, level surface.
- Disconnect the motor assembly from the pole assembly.
- Disconnect the handle from the pole.
- Connect the handle to the motor assembly and now your electric chainsaw is ready to go.
Full Wrap Handle
- Its full wrap handle provides several different holding positions, giving you a more secure grip and better control of your saw.
- Because the handle is located at the bottom of the pole, you won’t have to worry about the electric cord getting in your way or getting caught in the tree.
Simple Chain Tension Adjustment
It’s important to check the chain tension on your electric pole saw before and during use. Adjust the tension whenever the flats on the saw chain hang out of the bar groove.
Step 1: Turn the bar knob counterclockwise to slightly loosen the bar cover. Do this without removing the bar cover.
Step 2: Hold the guide bar tip up in the air and then turn the chain-tensioning ring clockwise. If you accidently overtighten the chain, just turn the ring counter-clockwise a little bit.
Step 3: Once you find the perfect chain tension, continue holding the guide bar tip and turn the bar knob clockwise to securely tighten the bar cover.
Angled Power Head
Unlike other pole saws, this model has an angled power head. This helps prevent pinching and lets gravity provide the power when cutting.
Self-Lubricating Chain
Instead of making you push buttons to oil the chain, this model will self-lubricate for you. It works harder, so you don’t have to.
